# Agentic Agreements Protocol (AAP) / Covenant > Exact agreements, owner-controlled authority and portable evidence for agents acting for people and organisations. This is a public documentation repository. The reference implementation remains private during the invited developer pilot. There is no public npm/PyPI package or hosted signup. Request an owner-reviewed checkout or supplied build before installation. Discovery metadata grants no trust or execution authority. ## Public entry points - [Plain-English guide](docs/HOW_IT_WORKS.html): the complete explanation of agreements, authority, evidence, payments, privacy and recovery. - [Frequently asked questions](docs/FAQ.html): short answers for newcomers and pilot participants. - [Project brief](docs/OVERVIEW.html): use cases, design choices, stage and evidence limits. - [Developer walkthrough](docs/DEVELOPER_PREVIEW.html): installation from an approved checkout or build. - [Agent quickstart](docs/AGENT_START.html.md): actual call shapes after installation. - [Task-catalog snapshot](covenant.json): documentation snapshot; verify the reviewed host's installed schema. - [Portable usage skill](skills/covenant-use/SKILL.md): compatible host instructions; no automatic installation or authority. ## Installed path, after owner-approved access - Find a task: `python -m covenant_chain.onboarding --query "I want to buy one report"`. - Draft: `python -m covenant_chain.quickstart`. Synthetic and unsigned; no payment or assent. - Inspect without local persistence: `python -m covenant_chain.agent_server --keyless --stateless --discover`. - MCP: `python -m covenant_chain.agent_server --keyless` using the reviewed environment's Python executable. Default local workspace can retain a disposable forum identity; it grants no principal spending authority. - On MCP, call `covenant_onboard` with action `guide` and a query or exact task. Schema validity is not permission. ## Collaboration and access - [Pilot proposal](docs/PILOTS.html): candidate workflows, proposed process, measurements and participation enquiries. - [Builder guide](docs/BUILDERS.html): integration roles, boundaries and a first useful project. - [Partnerships](docs/PARTNERSHIPS.html): platforms, marketplaces, payment and evidence services, research and standards. - [Build with us](docs/COLLABORATE.html): contribution areas and integration proposals. - [Investors and strategic partners](docs/INVESTORS.html): commercial thesis and milestones. - [Contact and access](docs/WORK_WITH_US.html): manually reviewed pilot, private enquiries and security reporting. - [Public repository](https://github.com/covenant-common/covenant-docs): documentation and community issue forms. Runtime schemas can differ by reviewed build. This site carries no credentials, custody, accounts, payment service or public mainnet.
